江省宁波市的花卉之乡在慈溪市附海镇，附海镇的花卉又以竺萱生物科技有限公司所种植的蝴蝶兰为。浙江慈溪竺萱生物科技有限公司成立于2002年8月份，本公司引进台湾的温室建筑设备，拥有全自动电脑温度、湿度及光照控制系统.首期建筑面积近1万平方米，并于同年10月份引进台湾品种的蝴蝶兰约20万株。为掌握蝴蝶兰种苗的来源及确保品种的质量和开发更优良的品种所需，，本公司于同年又成立了属生物科技培养部门，可年培养200万株以上种苗，可自给自足也可满足市场的需求，形成了长年可供应瓶苗、大中小苗及成花一整套完善的供销规模
